Boost productivity with speeds of up to 8700 B2 4/0 sheets per hour. The B2 press is designed for continuous operation and optimal technical availability, and can produce short runs efficiently, just-in-time, with no overproduction or inventory.

Versatile media support

The press’ straight paper path and innovative fixation allow reliable production on a wide range of coated and uncoated media, as well as selected paper boards up to 450gsm in sizes up to 750mm by 614mm. That lets you produce a full range of print products on a single platform, add value for your customers with premium print applications, and tap into new revenue opportunities.

    The varioPRINT iX3200 range, consisting of the varioPRINT iX3200 and varioPRINT iX2100, is a market-leading range of B3 production sheetfed inkjet presses.

    The varioPRINT iX3200 has successfully proven that commercial printers do not need to compromise any more. Hundreds of Canon sheetfed inkjet presses have been installed worldwide, showcasing high efficiency with uptime of more than 90% and highly consistent image quality.

    In 2025, Canon will expand this successful proposition with two new sheetfed inkjet presses, allowing more commercial printers to benefit from potential business growth.

    The inks used in the Canon sheetfed inkjet presses are proprietary, developed and manufactured in-house at Canon. They are key to the media versatility of the system. The water-based polymer pigment inks provide:

    • Stable jetting behaviour
    • A low environmental impact:

    Canon’s sheetfed inkjet presses use ColorGrip, a conditioning liquid that delivers even more flexibility in media choice. ColorGrip instantly immobilises the pigments in the ink after printing, resulting in high print quality for both uncoated paper and offset coated paper.
